Down to earth advice and growing your own fruit and vegetables with allotment gardener Terry Walton, from his plot in the Rhondda Valley

Down to earth advice and growing your own fruit and vegetables with allotment gardener Terry Walton, from his plot in the Rhondda Valley.
It's time to give the strawberry beds a treat and maintain them ready for the growing season.
Terry's been chitting some of the early seed potatoes, but they've yet to shoot. They're going in the ground anyway today, but will probably take a little longer to grow.
The shallots have been started off indoors, now that green shoots are sprouting it's time for them to go out on the plot too.
