The mindset of Worcester's Boat Race winner
Luke Beever first picked up an oar at King's School in Worcester, in Year Nine. Now he's victorious with Cambridge in one of the oldest competitions of them all, The Boat Race.
The rower tells Malcolm Boyden about his mindset in the tense moments before and then during the 4.2 mile race, as well as being 'lost for words' after crossing the finish line, with the jubilant celebrations following.
He says going back to his Engineering course is a bit of a comedown, but is also looking forward to competing for a spot in next year's boat, during his final year of studying at Cambridge.
