Born in Manchester, Waqas Saeed (or Wax as he is more commonly known) always dreamt of becoming a film director. He studied at the University of Bedfordshire before his 'nearly career' in making films came to an abrupt end when he joined 蜜芽传媒 Asian Network in 2004. In 2007 Wax joined 'The Adil Ray Show' becoming a regular part of the show and where he is probably best remembered for his on-air campaign, 'I Love B.O.' (Barack Obama). Shortly after captaining his very own self-titled show, Wax was nominated for a 'Rising Star' Sony Award. But is best not mentioned, as not winning is still a bit of a sore point! However, Wax remains undoubtedly talented and cute... in his Mum's eyes. She especially loves his humour, daftness and passion for music.
