Adam and Barbara are still coming to terms with being ghosts stuck in the afterlife, when an awful family from New York move into their house and start destroying their most treasured possessions and memories. Having tried and failed to scare them away themselves, the couple ignore their afterlife case worker Juno's advice and turn to the services of a freelance 'bio-exorcist' named Beetlejuice. But once he's involved, the Deetz family turn out to be the least of Adam and Barbara's problems.
