Mark continues his journey through all six Brandenburg Concertos by Bach, featuring a recent performance given by Renaud Capuçon and the Lausanne Chamber Orchestra. Also today, Handel's masterly setting of the Dixit Dominus from Freiburg and another chance to enjoy chamber highlights from the Cowbridge Music Festival in Wales.

Plus, ѿý Radio 3’s Private Passions at 30. Michael Berkeley presents the show where guests from all walks of life discuss their musical loves and hates and talk about the influence music has had on their lives. As part of Radio 3's day-long birthday celebrations, Mark offers further past gems from the Private Passions archive. This afternoon's clips include comedian Jo Brand, artist David Hockney, Professor Brian Cox, author and film-maker Olivia Harrison, Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield and novelist P D James.
