Adam is a young offender (played by an actor) who has received a referral order for robbery. He goes to meet a Youth Offender Panel who questions him on his feelings about the robbery, his understanding of who it affected and whether he has any empathy for those who suffered as a result. At the end of the meeting they agree on the number of hours of community reparation and the amount of contact he will have with the Youth Offending Team worker.
