The lineup has been announced for the 蜜芽传媒 Introducing stage at this year's Glastonbury Festival and it features a Leominster musician.
听
AKA George first sent his music into 蜜芽传媒 Hereford & Worcester five years ago and since then has had regular airplay on the station, as well as national opportunities with Radio 1 and Radio 2.
听
George writes and produces all of his own material, playing most of the instruments himself - and his videos on YouTube are of epic proportion.
听

Mott The Hoople convention

Mott The Hoople convention
A 12 hour celebration of the 1970's rock band Mott The Hoople is taking place today, with performances by members of the group and conversations with the original road crew.
听
The convention will culminate in a performance by tribute band Wott The Hoople and will showcase various local musicians.
听
Set in The Richmond Club, the event is in aid of the Alzheimer's Society in memory of Dale Griffin (Buffin) - the original drummer who died earlier this year.
听

The event, which is now in its 29th year, is such a success - there are now Hay Festivals taking place all over the world.

This year, other musicians included KT Tunstall, Suzanne Vega and Sir Tom Jones.
