His new album is called Songs From Rainbow Hill, which overlooks the house where he's now lived for more than two decades.
“One of the finest pianists in the Midlands’ right now – mesmerising” - Andrew Marston.
Highlights: GlastonBeoley
This new local festival brought 38 artists from around the Midlands to perform across two stages.
The event was organised by local music duo Imaner; last year they raised £10k for charity.
Ellie Goulding at Radio 1's Big Weekend & Interview
And she's Herefordshire's most successful-ever export - having achieved more top 40 records than the Pretenders and Mott The Hoople put together.
Throughout June, we're hearing tracks from her performance at Radio 1's Big Weekend in Middlesbrough.
Tonight, we'll also hear from Ellie talking about a surprise karaoke performance she gave in New York City and news about her forthcoming album.
ѿý Music Introducing at the Hay Festival
The 2019 festivities featured more than 600 speakers across 11 days - including musicians Billy Bragg, The Gipsy Kings and The Waterboys.
According to festival director, Peter Florence, some 270,000 tickets were sold with attendees from over 40 countries, ranging from Afghanistan to Argentina.
Highlights: Mello Festival nr Upton
This year, Goldie Lookin' Chain, EMF and Craig Charles graced the stages - with people travelling from all over Europe to attend.
Performing to 8.2 million people
8.2 million people tuned in to watch 89 year-old Chelsea Pensioner Colin Thackery be crowned the winner.
The choir performed 'A Million Dreams', from The Greatest Showman, alongside Susan Boyle and Michael Ball.
ѿý Music Introducing at Wychwood
Since 2010, ѿý Music Introducing in Hereford & Worcester has been showcasing the best local talent at this annual event, taking over from Tom Robinson on stage curation duties.
Originally, Gloucestershire and the seven counties that surrounded the festival would suggest artists to a number of high profile executives in the music industry who’d decide the final 28.
Over the years, we’ve become the last ones standing – being able to choose our prime acts to take to centre stage at this prestigious event.
We’ll be hearing highlights from our ѿý Music Introducing stage takeover over these next couple of weeks.
Session tracks: India Parkman
She started learning piano just 12 months later. She says "being a poor sight-reader, I learnt all my set pieces by heart and began to recreate songs I'd heard on the radio or TV by ear."
Soon she was experimenting with chord progressions and melodies and had written her first song.
Her influences include Coldplay, Adele and Lana Del Rey before discovering a love for A capella at university and it's her dream to write, and perhaps produce, for a living.
“Haunting and beautiful melodies, delivered with a spine tingling performance” - Andrew Marston.

ѿý Music Introducing in Malvern
Since 2005 we’ve broadcast around 1,500 sessions, helping to showcase some of our area’s most talented musicians.
We’ve handpicked some of our favourite acts to join us on stage at the Malvern Cube on Sunday, 14 July from 7.30pm.
These artists didn’t even know they were being considered – and we hope this inspires people to keep sending in their music, because we really do listen to everything.
Admission is free.
