Governing the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½

The Trust is the governing body of the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½. We make decisions in the best interests of licence fee payers and protect the independence of the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½.

We do this by setting the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½â€™s strategy, approving how and where the licence fee is spent, and by reviewing the performance of all of the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½â€™s services, both public service and commercial.

The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½â€™s Royal Charter and Agreement set out the rules and regulations by which we do our job. More information on these documents, as well as the protocols and policies that support our work, can be found at the links below.

We report on how we govern the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ every year in the Annual Report and Accounts, through which we are accountable to licence fee payers and the UK Parliament
