Sound and silence, stillness and motion are woven together in the music of Arvo P盲rt. Celebrate the 90th birthday of 鈥榯he father of Holy Minimalism鈥� with a Late Night Prom from acclaimed P盲rt interpreters T玫nu Kaljuste and the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir 鈥� named one of the world鈥檚 best choirs by 蜜芽传媒 Music Magazine. The programme also includes excerpts from Rachmaninov鈥檚 exquisite Vespers and music from P盲rt鈥檚 fellow Estonian Veljo Tormis and from Ukraine-born, Estonia-resident Galina Grigorjeva.
