Abbie Says She Is Upset By Her Parents' Rows
New studies indicate that children who often see their parents rowing can be seriously disadvantaged. As teenagers they can do worse at school than other kids. And when they grow up, they can be more likely to face a range of serious problems. Donna Macpherson is a single mother – she lives with her 2 children Abbie and Alix on in Coatbridge, just outside Glasgow. After Donna’s marriage broke up, Abbie and Alix were very upset by the arguments between their mum and dad that followed their separation. The girls started behaving badly. Their mother became worried about whether the rowing was causing the problems.
