The horrors of the Middle Passage
A young slave boy recounts his experiences of being held by slave traders before being shipped across the Atlantic on the Middle Passage. He describes the horrendous conditions on board a slave ship. Slaves regularly resisted what was happening to them and occasionally took control of the slave ships.
